From the moment families arrived at Henley Park, there was something in the air — joy, warmth, laughter and the unmistakable spirit of brothers and sisters who genuinely love one another.
To every single person who came out — whether you registered in advance or simply turned up on the day, whether you were from Canterbury or joined us from another congregation — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made this day what it was.

BBQ Chefs & Chef Assistants
You worked tirelessly over those grills, cooking assorted meats brought by so many generous brothers and sisters, and making sure everyone was fed and satisfied. The food was truly delicious and every bite was a blessing.
The Welfare Team
You quietly moved among the families all afternoon, checking on everyone, making sure the little ones were safe and that no one was left out. Your care and attentiveness did not go unnoticed.
The Safety & Cleaning Team
You kept everything orderly and left the park in excellent condition. Thank you for serving behind the scenes so that everyone else could enjoy the afternoon without worry.

Canterbury is truly a united congregation, and today was another beautiful example of that unity in action.
We are already looking forward to the next Soccer and BBQ gathering — in summer, during the kids' school holidays.
